Our Veterinary Staff
Dr. Michael Fedyniak
I have been caring for animals almost all my life. I worked with my dad, Dr Vladimir, since grade school. Undergraduate work was completed at Loyola University in Chicago and at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana. I then attended the Hannover School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1975.
My wife Jennifer, and children, Kira, Alec and Paul, share our home with a Lab/Golden named Jack and a Bulldog named Bogart.
Cats have a special place in my heart. Currently we are catless because of my wife's severe allergies to them. For fun we like to ski, play volleyball, hike, swim, and ride dirtbikes.
My special interests include general medicine, surgery including laser, and reproduction.
Association memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association, Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, and the Ukrainian American Veterinary Medical Association
Dr. Betsy Wolf Klerk
I am a Cinncinati, Ohio transplant. After completing my undergraduate work and veterinary school at the University of Illinois in 1999, I stayed to participate in an internship dedicated to medical oncology.
Mr. Right, and Chicken, two of the sweetest feline creatures ever, live with me.
When not working, I enjoy working out, reading, spending time with my friends, and of course, sleeping.
Because of my internship, my area of special interest at the clinic is oncology. I especially enjoy the interaction with owners and my patients.
